Jez established his expertise as a commercial quantity surveyor during a decade of service with two prominent contracting companies, before joining ISG and taking on the project management of a succession of complex, large-scale developments.
Having demonstrated his ability to define and deliver strategic objectives, Jez moved into a client consultancy role with Capita Symonds, where he headed up the firm’s London commercial project management team and took the lead on liaison with corporate occupiers.
His canny management of client and contractor relationships were instrumental in winning the contract for the national BBC project management framework and were key to the success of a number of prestigious projects including a £24 million refurbishment of a major European bank in Broadgate; the fit-out of Eversheds’ London office; and the restacking and refurbishment of the trading floors of another major international bank.
Prior to assuming his role as director at Capital and Provincial, Jez formed and led the projects team at CNP and oversaw the organisation’s project management, quantity surveying and construction design and management services.
Outside of work, Jez likes walking, photography, trying to beat his son at Fantasy Football (without success) and seeking to use his spreadsheet skills to hone his investment strategies.
