OLD SORTING HOUSE

Part demolition of an 1855 building, which involved creating openings at each floor which linked through the building, forming an open-plan office space whilst retaining most of the existing structure. Additional construction of new buildings to the rear of the site included a basement and superstructure. Working within a tight logistical site, this project posed major Party wall challenges and required extensive temporary works. We took over this scheme from previous project managers.
