This Medieval English Grade I listed castle is steeped in history and offers a truly unique setting and experience to inspire the children who will stay there. With adventure activities on offer from Archery to Zip Wire, this fascinating setting is sure to inspire guests with memories that will last a lifetime. Capital and Provincial were ‘parachuted in’ to assist the PGL in-house team get the castle ready to accept guests for the summer 2022 season.
With a very short time window and extra challenges such as dry rot and asbestos discoveries plus the challenges associated with a Grade 1 listed building, our team had to work closely with PGL to draw together everyone’s input to meet the opening date allowing the client to honour the bookings and more importantly the expectations of many excited school children!
The castle now consists of 190 beds, which comprises of 170 guest capacity, plus 24 teacher/adult beds.
