Creation of 20 hotel apartments from existing five-storey mid terrace building. This required extensive structural work within a conservation area alongside the logistical challenges of serving a project with only a small frontage onto a busy road. The QS and PM teams were engaged to take on the previously tendered scheme where the costs were over budget and with a non-proceedable contractor. Significant Value Engineering was required to achieve the client’s budget.
