DIRECTOR - SURVEYING
Key Skills: David offers a good understanding of how all aspects of construction projects affect the time and cost of a project. He understands the benefits of good up-front reviews and is always looking for best value for clients both during design and post tender.
Role: David’s role includes interfacing with clients, design teams and the contractor to ensure all parties are working towards the common goals, finding the best value for the client whilst not affecting the overall product. He also regularly updates the client with the costs position of the project, from inception to handover.
Background: A chartered quantity surveyor, David has worked as a professional QS for the past 16 years. David heads up the Quantity Surveying offering at Capital and Provincial. Prior to C&P, David was a founding director of BSVP, a small Building and Project Consultancy. Before this, he had roles within CNP and Faithful and Gould. Overall, David has diverse experience for a wide range of clients.
